The Nutcracker
Our annual production of The Nutcracker is a joint production between CVDA and The Performing Company Booster. It features a cast made up of over 50 local dancers ages 2 through 18. We are proud to have raised over $215,000 for local charities over the last 12 years.

History of The Nutcracker Production
The Nutcracker Presented by CVDA began as a small community show in 2011. We set out 75 chairs and asked attendees to make a $2 donation or bring non-perishable food. We had over 300 people at those first shows and brought in more than we could have imagined. The overwhelming response to the show from the community has propelled us forward and helped The Nutcracker to grow to what it is today. We stay committed to donating 100% of ticket sales to local charities and are proud to have raised over $215,000 to date.
