Summer Dress Code

Ballet All classes: bun w/hair net and no bangs

Beg: full sole leather ballet shoes; black leotard, pink tights

Level 1A & 1B: split sole leather ballet shoes; any color leotard, pink tights

Level 2 – 3: split sole leather ballet shoes; any color leotard, pink tights

Level 4 +: split sole leather or canvas ballet shoes; any color leo, black or pink tights

Dancers may wear ballet skirts, wraps, and sweaters but no shorts in class.  Dancers will be expected to take off their warm-ups when the instructor asks.

 

Tap All classes: ponytail

All classes: lace up tap shoes; shorts and a fitted t-shirt or tank top (ankles must be exposed)

 

 

Jazz All classes: secure ponytail or bun

All classes: dancepaws, footundeez, or jazz shoes; must be dance wear i.e. shorts, leos, tanks, jazz pants, tights, NO BAGGY SHIRTS      -Shorty tops are now allowed in all jazz and tech classes

 

Hip Hop All classes: must be able to put hair up

All classes: clean tennis shoes or high tops; baggy shorts or pants, baggy shirt

 

 

Tumbling All classes: ponytail with secured bangs

All classes: barefoot (no tights); leotard and shorts or a biketard

 

 

Musical Theatre All classes: ponytail

All classes: black jazz shoes or character shoes; all black dance wear i.e. shorts, leos, jazz pants

 

Technique and Lyrical/Contemporary All classes: any hair; tight dancewear and some sort of shoe
