Onstage New York was our last competition of the season! We spent 3.5 days at the Oregon Convention Center smiling, laughing, and crying. Most dancers competed their solos for the last time, and 4 girls competed for the last time ever. Our graduating seniors Jenna, Camille, Brenna, and Hadley all finished out their competition career with so many hugs and so much love around them.
Our dancers had their personal best performances too! Gorgeous lines, expressive faces, confident execution. At the end of the weekend I was a little tired (and crazy) but reflecting on our season no less. What amazing dancers and families we have at CVDA. Each one is respectful and caring and loving of every team member. We value personal growth and hard work. The awards are a momentary reflection of our work, but the time, dedication and self discipline developed leading up to the competition is what resonates long term.
